Dr. Bevis is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and the resident ophthalmologist at Piedmont Eye Surgical & Laser Center. He opened the center in his native North Carolina in 2008. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Bevis is pleased to offer a full range of vision correction and eye surgery procedures to all people in his home state.

  • Spartanburg Regional Hospital – Intern, 2003
  • University of Florida, Gainesville – Ophthalmology Residency, 2004-2005

While at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Dr. Bevis was awarded the Ophthalmology Resident of the year in 2004 and 2005.

Dr. Bevis is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the North Carolina Medical Board.

Community Involvement and Charitable Work

Dr. Bevis, his wife, and two daughters are active in are active in their church actively participate in both church and school fundraisers. While working on his undergraduate degree, Dr. Bevis volunteered at health fairs and rural health clinics in Guadalajara, Mexico and Miami, Florida.

Dr. Bevis has a strong commitment to his community and those who find themselves in need. A dedicated father and husband, Dr. Bevis believes that every patient deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, and afforded the most effective, personalized vision treatments available.
